The Colors of Healing is a family-centered bereavement program that offers support through a variety of programs, gatherings and resource information. Healing Hearts at Avista Hospital
For women who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. All women are at different stages in their grief process. Some have had a recent loss, a loss from years ago, trying to become pregnant again, currently pregnant, or have had a successful pregnancy since their loss. Important to note: it is for women only and there could be pregnant women in the group.

Littleton Hospital’s Perinatal Bereavement Support Group
The group meets to share and work through their loss. The group explores the impact of loss on the dads and the marriage relationship as well as the moms. Ends with a commemorative ceremony to honor the babies.

Solace Pregnancy and Newborn Loss Support Program at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center
Curriculum-based support groups covering the following topics: understanding grief, remembering, accepting and expressing feelings, role changes, stress and coping, anniversaries, memorializing your baby, support systems, subsequent pregnancy. Note, meetings alternate between the two locations.
Meeting Place: Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, 8300 West 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge and 200 Exempla Circle, Lafayette.
Meeting Times: Held approximately every 2-3 months when 4 or more are ready for a group; 5 weeks in duration. Call for next group start date.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF)
Local support group where the bereaved meet together to talk, listen, share, and provide emotional support for families that are dealing with the devastating death of a child. When you attend chapter sessions, you won’t find professionals running the meetings and giving advice. We’re not therapists and we do not provide counseling. Everyone will be just like you, someone who is going through the natural grieving process.
