Garth is a pastor, teacher, equipper, author, and entrepreneur. Married 33 years, 2 boys, 2 grandkids, 2 dogs and 2-time cancer survivor. He lives each day with an intense passion to choke all 86,400 seconds out of each day. 





In this its 44th season, the Valley Chamber Chorale (VCC), under the direction of Artistic Director Daryl Timmer, strives to bring quality musical offerings to the St. Croix Valley.  Guided by its mission statement, “Enriching life’s shared experience through musical artistry”, the VCC embodies its commitment to excellence and varied programming by presenting concerts that are accessible and engaging to a broad community of audience members.  Singers in the VCC come from all walks of life and share a passion for making music of the highest caliber.  The Valley Chamber Chorale is recognized as a leading arts organization in the St. Croix Valley and is considered to be its premier choral ensemble.



ANNETTE KLEIN, Remembrance Reader

Annette Klein has been a Registered Nurse for 40 years, is ICEA certified, and has completed her RTS Advanced Coordinator training. The first 5 years of her career were spent in oncology, the following 35 have been in obstetrics.  She has 3 living children, one loss at 10 weeks and a daughter born still at term. These experiences have shaped the focus and passion of her career.

She currently is in charge of education and support for families in high-risk pregnancies at United Hospital, facilitating the groups “High Risk, Pregnancy and Infant Loss,” “Pregnancy After a Loss,” and “Grandparent Information and Support”. She coordinates birth planning with families at United who have special needs or whose babies are diagnosed with life-limiting conditions.  She also provides education for medical staff and nurses at United as well as Allina Health Systems. She has spoken at local, regional, and national conferences. She considers it her honor to walk with families on part of their difficult but sacred journey.
